Vicky Munday is the AC at Alma Barn Lodge. She reached out to share these wonderful photos of her residents enjoying music and singing together.
“Music plays a huge part of our lives here. Last week we got together for hymns on Sunday – after singing in our Hawking Lounge we took our singing to friends who couldn’t join us in the lounge. On Tuesday we chose classical music and played a waltz by Tchaikovsky, amongst other composers. There were some beautiful port-de-bras from our lovely residents. Later on in the week I captured one of our residents, Betty, dancing with one of our Nurses. They were listening to music on our smart speaker. There is always music playing in our home – one of our residents is a huge George Michael fan and loves tuning in to Smooth FM!”
