Every month, we donate 300 to a worthy charity, chosen by a different member of our team each time. This month, we chose Captain Tom and his incredible efforts to raise money for the NHS, by doing 100 laps of his garden before his 100th birthday at the end of April. From a goal of just 1000, Captain Tom has now raised over 35 million for NHS Charities, an incredible feat.
This was the choice of the entire team, and our founder Chris says: “We just love this story of Captain Tom and his indomitable, warm-hearted spirit. A really courageous and joyful story to come out of the coronavirus pandemic. Happy Birthday Captain Tom.”
