A lovely festive idea for decoupaging Christmas images onto pebbles and stones, or candles and plain soaps, to give as gifts. Start making these now in your art & craft sessions, so you have plenty to use as presents when the big day approaches.

You Will Need
- Plain wax candles, soaps and stones
- Acrylic paints
- Brushes or decoupage sponges
- Pre-cut decoupage images (wrapping paper is a great source of festive images)
- Mod podge glue
- Varnish (for the pebbles if placing them outside)
What To Do
Wash your stones and let them dry. Then add a coat of acrylic paint. Once dry, add your desired image, using the glue to stick it on, and then an extra layer of glue for protection and as a form of varnish. For a personalised touch, print residents’ pictures to decorate the stones with, making a perfect gift for their loved ones.
